Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Connect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.
  2. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Connect the cooling fan motor connector.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the No. 2 fan with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL FAN 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the fan with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  5. INSTALL COOLING FAN WIRE 
    1. Connect the cooling fan wire connector.
    2. Engage the 3 clamps to install the cooling fan wire.
  6. INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 

    See step  4 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  4 [11/2017 - ]

  7. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the fan shroud assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    2. Install a new radiator hose clamp to the fan shroud assembly.
    3. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator hose clamp.
  8. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  8 [11/2017 - ]

  10. CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE 

    See step  9 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  9 [11/2017 - ]

  11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT 

    See step  10 [10/2015 - 11/2017], or see step  10 [11/2017 - ]

  12. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79

  13. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  14. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 78

  16. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - ]

  17. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2022 - ]
