Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL 
    1. Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing chain cover oil seal.
      NOTE:
      • Keep the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal free from foreign matter.
      • Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.
    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing chain cover oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover edge.
      • SST: 09636-20010 

      Standard Depth

      -0.75 to -1.45 mm (-0.0295 to -0.0571 in.) (From the edge of the timing chain cover assembly)

      NOTE:
      • Do not tap in the timing chain cover oil seal at an angle.
      • Keep the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal free from foreign matter.
      • Wipe off any excess MP grease from the crankshaft.

  2. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY ASSEMBLY 

    See step  49

  3. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to INSTALLATION [11/2017 - ]

  4. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2015 - ] 

  5. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2015 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2019 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2021 - ]
