Typical Enabling Conditions

Air fuel ratio sensor status Activated
Fuel system status Closed loop
Engine load 10% or higher, and less than 125%
Shift position 4th or higher
All of the following conditions are met 1, 2 and 3
1. Mass air flow rate 3 gm/sec. or higher, and less than 50 gm/sec.
2. Front catalyst temperature (estimated) 520°C (968°F) or higher, and less than 800°C (1472°F)
3. Rear catalyst temperature (estimated) 495°C (923°F) or higher, and less than 800°C (1472°F)
