Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV) 
    1. Install the No. 1 check valve to the bracket.

      *1 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *3 No. 1 Check Valve
    2. Install the fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 check valve.
    3. Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 check valve and slide the clip to secure it.
    4. Install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the intake manifold with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *a View A
      *b 1 to 6 mm (0.0394 to 0.236 in.)
      *c 120°
      *d Paint mark
      *e Front
      *f RH
    5. Engage the clamp to the purge valve (purge VSV).
    6. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).
    7. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      HINT: 

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

    8. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
    9. Engage the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly to the purge valve (purge VSV).
