Installation [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Install the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)

Push the charcoal canister outlet tube sub-assembly onto the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.

NOTE:

Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the tube connector and pipe (charcoal canister filter sub-assembly) before performing this work.
After connecting the charcoal canister outlet tube sub-assembly, check that the charcoal canister outlet tube sub-assembly is securely connected by pulling on the tube connector.

INSTALL LEAK DETECTION PUMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT:

Only perform this procedure when replacement of the leak detection pump sub-assembly is necessary.

Engage the 2 claws to install a new leak detection pump sub-assembly to the No. 2 charcoal canister assembly.

NOTE:

Do not allow foreign matter such as grease, oil or water to adhere to the O-rings.
Ensure that the claws are engaged properly.

INSTALL NO. 2 CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY

Install the No. 2 charcoal canister assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
Connect the leak detection pump sub-assembly connector.

Push the charcoal canister filter hose onto the leak detection pump sub-assembly and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.

NOTE:

Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the tube connector and pipe (leak detection pump sub-assembly) before performing this work.
After connecting the charcoal canister filter hose, check that the charcoal canister filter hose is securely connected by pulling on the tube connector.

INSTALL CANISTER (CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY)

Install the charcoal canister outlet guide to the vehicle body.

Engage the claw to install the canister (charcoal canister assembly) to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

Engage the charcoal canister outlet guide to connect the canister (charcoal canister assembly).
Install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
Connect the purge line hose and slide the clip to secure it.

Push the vent line hose onto the canister (charcoal canister assembly) and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.

NOTE:

Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the tube connector and pipe (canister (charcoal canister assembly)) before performing this work.
After connecting the vent line hose, check that the vent line hose is securely connected by pulling on the tube connector.

Push the No. 2 charcoal canister hose onto the canister (charcoal canister assembly) and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.

NOTE:

Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the tube connector and pipe (canister (charcoal canister assembly)) before performing this work.
After connecting the No. 2 charcoal canister hose, check that the No. 2 charcoal canister hose is securely connected by pulling on the tube connector.

INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the No. 1 floor under cover assembly with the 4 clips and 5 grommets.
