Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Install a new gasket to the engine oil temperature sensor.

Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, install the engine oil temperature sensor to the stiffening crankcase assembly.

*a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

Specified tightening torque

Torque: 19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

NOTE:

If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

HINT:

Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

When using a 19 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.09 in.)): 16.8 N*m (171 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf)

Connect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.

ADD ENGINE OIL

CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
