Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  2. REMOVE COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 No. 5 engine wire connectors.

    2. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose
    3. Remove the 4 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 O-rings from the stiffening crankcase assembly.
  4. REMOVE NO. 5 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 5 engine wire from the oil cooler assembly.
