Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket sub-assembly from the transmission with transfer assembly.

1. Put matchmarks on the flange yoke assembly and the front propeller shaft assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver or an equivalent tool, hold the front propeller shaft assembly.

   *a	Turn
   *b	Hold

3. Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, loosen the 6 bolts.
   NOTE:

   • Be careful not to damage the front propeller shaft assembly.
   • To prevent the front propeller shaft assembly from falling, only loosen the bolts. Do not remove them.
4. Put matchmarks on the front drive pinion companion flange front sub-assembly and the front propeller shaft assembly.

5. Using a screwdriver or an equivalent tool, hold the front propeller shaft assembly.

   *b	Hold

6. Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, loosen the 6 bolts.
   NOTE:

   • Be careful not to damage the front propeller shaft assembly.
   • To prevent the front propeller shaft assembly from falling, only loosen the bolts. Do not remove them.
7. Remove the 12 bolts, 4 constant velocity universal joint washers and front propeller shaft assembly.
