Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL BOX BOTTOM MAT 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the box bottom mat is necessary.

      Install in this Direction - -
      1. Clean the upper console box surface.

        1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the upper console box.

        2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      2. Remove the release paper from 2 new pieces of double-sided tape and install it as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Engage the 3 guides as shown in the illustration.
      4. Engage the 5 claws.
      5. Remove the release paper from the 2 pieces of double-sided tape and install a new box bottom mat.

      1. Make sure there are no areas that are lifted up.
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE REAR END PANEL 
  3. INSTALL USB CHARGER SOCKET 
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER 
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  7. INSTALL CIGAR LIGHTER HOLE COVER 
  8. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
  9. INSTALL NO. 4 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET

      *a Nut (A) - -
      1. Temporarily install the nut (A).
      2. Install the No. 4 console box mounting bracket with the 4 nuts.

        HINT: 

        Tighten the nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf) 

  10. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET 
  11. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  12. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 
  13. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 
  14. INSTALL BLE INDOOR DIGITAL KEY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Key System) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
  16. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  17. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
  18. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH 
  19. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE BOX 
  20. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL 
  21. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  22. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  23. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 
  24. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 
  25. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX HOLE COVER 
  26. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY 
  27. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  28. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    To prevent damage to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly), do not apply excessive force to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly).

      *1 Drive Mode Select Switch (Combination Switch Assembly) - -
      Install in this Direction - -
      1. Engage the 4 clips as shown in the illustration to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.
