Power Steering ECU Communication Stop Mode [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY MAIN LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the B66 rack and pinion power steering gear assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B66-10 (CANH) - B66-11 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω Result

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B66-7 (PGND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
