- INITIALIZATION NOTE:
When the ECM is replaced, update the ECU security key.

- PRECAUTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
- After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
- To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- WHEN USING GTS WARNING:
Observe the following items for safety reasons:
- Before using the GTS, read the instruction manual.
- Prevent the GTS cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever or steering wheel when driving with the GTS connected to the vehicle.
- When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the GTS, 2 persons are required. One drives the vehicle, and the other operates the GTS.
- COOLING FAN SYSTEM WARNING:
The cooling fans may continue to operate after the engine switch is turned off. Be careful not to bring your hands or tools near the cooling fans while they are operating.
HINT:
The cooling fans may continue to operate for up to 6 minutes after the engine switch is turned off if the following conditions are met after driving under high load:
- The engine coolant temperature is extremely high.
- The outside air temperature is extremely high.
