- READ VALUE USING GTS (CHECK FOR SHORT IN WIRE HARNESS)
*1 Engine Oil Temperature Sensor *2 ECM - Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.
- According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

GTS Display Specified Condition Engine Oil Temperature Sensor -40°C (-40°F) Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPLACE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR - ECM)
- Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B12-1 (THEO) or B49-99 (THEO) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
Proceed to OK NG
