Check Bus 7 Line [03/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN MAIN BUS LINES 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (Central Gateway ECU (Network Gateway ECU))

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the D84 option connector (bus buffer ECU) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      D84-2 (CAN+) - D66-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher

  7. CHECK FOR SHORT TO +B IN CAN BUS LINE (CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU)) 
    1. Disconnect the D71 central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      D71-5 (CA8H) - D66-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

    1. Reconnect the D71 central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.
    2. Disconnect the D84 option connector (bus buffer ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D84-2 (CAN+) - D84-1 (CAN-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
