DTC C0063-1F: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent; DTC C0520-1F: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent [11/2021 - ]: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2025 Lexus NX 350h, 2024 Lexus NX 350h, 2023 Lexus NX 350h, and 2022 Lexus NX 350h. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
The No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | MIL | DTC Output from | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| C0063-1F | Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent | When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from yaw rate sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. | Yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) | Does not come on | Brake/EPB | Output ECU: No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) |
| C0520-1F | Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent | When voltage at terminal +BS is 9.5 to 17.4 V, sensor invalid information received from acceleration sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more. | Acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) | Comes on | Brake/EPB |
