Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2021 - ]

  2. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [12/2021 - ]
  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR BODY ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 14 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

  9. REMOVE NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

  10. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly from the No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly RH and No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly LH.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2021 - ]

      2. Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly from the 2 fuel hose clamps.
  11. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel pressure sensor.
      2. Disconnect the connector from the No. 7 engine wire.
      3. Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 7 engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket and cylinder head cover sub-assembly RH.
      4. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly RH from the intake manifold.
        NOTE:

        Do not to drop the port fuel injector assembly.

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 6 WATER BY-PASS PIPE 

    See step  5

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR HOLDER 

    See step  6

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 

    See step  7

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      1. Disconnect the connector from the No. 8 engine wire.
      2. Detach the claw and open the cover of the connector holder.
      3. Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 8 engine wire from the connector holder.

      1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly LH from the intake manifold.
        NOTE:

        Do not to drop the port fuel injector assembly.
