DTC C1240-00: Yaw Rate Sensor / Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.

   OK

   Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ] 

Result: 

OK

Pre-procedure1

1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   Procedure1

3. Operate the GTS to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Trouble Codes.

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Clear DTCs 

   Result

   Proceed to
   NEXT

   Post-procedure1

4. Press the DTC clear button.
5. Turn the ignition switch off.
