Disassembly [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    When removing parts with double-sided tape applied, heat the portion of the parts with tape residue with a heat light if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove.

    Standard Value

    Part Temperature
    Metal parts 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Resin parts 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the part excessively.

  2. REMOVE KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Hands Free Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 BLE DOOR DIGITAL KEY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Key System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
  7. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

  24. REMOVE MOULDING TAPE

      1. Heat the adhesive of the moulding tape using a heat light.
      2. Remove the moulding tape.
    2. Use the same procedure for the other side.
  25. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER PAD

      1. Heat the adhesive of the rear bumper center pad using a heat light.
      2. Remove the rear bumper center pad.
  26. REMOVE REAR ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP

      1. Heat the adhesive of the rear ultrasonic sensor clip using a heat light.
      2. Remove the 2 rear ultrasonic sensor clips.
