Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Standard) 
    NOTE:

    When removing the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH using a heat light.

    Part Temperature
    Front Fender Moulding Sub-assembly LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH excessively.

      1. Put protective tape around the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH.

      Clip Screw
      1. Remove the 5 clips.
      2. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the screw.

      *a Double-sided Tape - -
      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Heat the adhesive of the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH using a heat light.
      2. Using moulding remover B, detach the guide and clip in the order shown in the illustration.

      1. Fold back the front fender liner LH and detach the claw and remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Off Road Package)

      1. Put protective tape around the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH.

      Clip Screw
      1. Remove the 5 clips.
      2. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the screw.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using moulding remover B, detach the guide and clip in the order shown in the illustration.

      1. Fold back the front fender liner LH and detach the claw and remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH.
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER ORNAMENT PAD (for Standard) 
    NOTE:

    When removing the front fender ornament pad, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the front fender ornament pad using a heat light.

    Front Fender Ornament Pad 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the front fender ornament pad excessively.

      1. Heat the adhesive of the front fender ornament pad using a heat light.
      2. Remove the front fender ornament pad.
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH (w/ Mudguard) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER NO. 2 MOULDING OUTSIDE LH 
    1. w/o Mudguard:

      Screw Clip
      1. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 screws.
      2. Remove the clip.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Put protective tape around the front fender No. 2 moulding outside LH.
      2. Detach the clip and remove the front fender No. 2 moulding outside LH as shown in the illustration.
