Inspection [12/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT POWER LIFT STEP ASSEMBLY LH
- Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.NOTE:
Do not apply positive (+) auxiliary battery voltage to any terminals except terminal 1 and 2 to avoid damaging the pulse sensor inside the motor.
*1 Motor Gear *a Component without harness connected

Tester Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) - L14-2 (STW1)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) - L14-1 (DPL1)Motor gear rotates turn in Direction (1) Auxiliary battery positive (+) - L14-1 (DPL1)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) - L14-2 (STW1)Motor gear rotates turn in Direction (2) - If the result is not as specified, replace the power lift step assembly LH.
WARNING:Reset the power lift step assembly LH (initialize the pulse sensor) after installing the power lift step assembly.
- Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
