Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    When removing parts with double-sided tape applied, heat the portion of the parts with tape residue with a heat light if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove.

    Standard Value

    Part Temperature
    Metal parts 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Resin parts 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF CARRIER SEAL (for Type A)

      1. Heat the adhesive of the No. 2 roof carrier seal using a heat light.
      2. Remove the 4 No. 2 roof carrier seals.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF CARRIER SEAL (for Type B)

      1. Heat the adhesive of the No. 2 roof carrier seal using a heat light.
      2. Remove the 6 No. 2 roof carrier seals.
  12. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING JOINT COVER LH (for Type C) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  13. REMOVE ROOF RACK BRACKET (for Type C)
