- INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the resistance.
*a Component without harness connected
(Back Door Control Switch)- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition U25-5 (CLLS) - U25-2 (E) Pressed (On) Below 1 Ω U25-5 (CLLS) - U25-2 (E) Not pressed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher - If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the switch illumination.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.

Tester Connection Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition U25-6 (ILL+) - U25-1 (ILL-) Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)Illumination illuminates - If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.
- Check the resistance.
