- INSPECT NO. 3 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)
- Check the resistance.
*a Component without harness connected
(No. 3 Combination Switch Assembly (Power Back Door Control Switch))- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition E125-4 (B) - E125-14 (MSE) Pressed (ON) Below 1 Ω E125-4 (B) - E125-14 (MSE) Not pressed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher - If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 3 combination switch assembly (power back door control switch).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 3 combination switch assembly (power back door control switch) illuminates.

Tester Connection Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition E125-7 (ILL+) - E125-12 (ILL-) Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (ILL-)Illumination illuminates - If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 3 combination switch assembly (power back door control switch).
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 3 combination switch assembly (power back door control switch) illuminates.
- Check the resistance.
