Inspection [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the operation of the back door opener switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Not Pushed (OFF)
        *b Pushed (ON)
        *c Component without harness connected
        (Back Door Opener Switch Assembly)

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        U4-2 (E) - U4-1 (UL) Back door opener switch not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        U4-2 (E) - U4-1 (UL) Back door opener switch pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
      2. If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.
    2. Check the operation of the back door lock switch.

      *a Not Pushed (OFF)
      *b Pushed (ON)
      *c Component without harness connected
      (Back Door Opener Switch Assembly)
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        U4-3 (L) - U4-2 (E) Back door lock switch not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        U4-3 (L) - U4-2 (E) Back door lock switch pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
      2. If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.
