Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER COVER LH 
    See step  1
  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER COVER RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Disconnect in this Direction Remove in this Direction
  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 WASHER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 washer bracket is necessary.

      Heated Part - -
      1. Heat the front bumper assembly and No. 2 washer bracket using a heat light at the specified temperature for 3 to 5 minutes.

        Heating Temperature

        Item Temperature
        Front Bumper Assembly 20 to 30 °C (68 to 86 °F)
        No. 2 Washer Bracket
        WARNING:
        • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
        • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
        • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      2. Remove the No. 2 washer bracket.
  7. REMOVE WASHER BRACKET 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 washer bracket.
