1. Disconnect the E5 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E60 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E5-29 (MSM+) - E60-11 (+DP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E5-12 (MSTI) - E60-10 (+DP2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E5-29 (MSM+) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E5-12 (MSTI) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E60-4 (EAU) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

2. Disconnect the E60 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance
