Reassembly [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 USB CHARGER SOCKET 
  3. INSTALL REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH (w/ Rear Register Duct) 
  4. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Register Duct) 
  5. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
  6. INSTALL TRANSFER POSITION SWITCH 
  7. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER 
  8. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET 
  9. INSTALL MOBILE WIRELESS CHARGER CRADLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Wireless Charger) 
  10. INSTALL SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  11. INSTALL SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR 
  12. INSTALL ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
  13. INSTALL NO. 4 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
  14. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER INDICATOR LENS 
  15. INSTALL NO. 1 POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY 
  16. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY 
  17. INSTALL USB CHARGER SOCKET 
  18. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX WIRE 
  19. INSTALL COOLER (COOL BOX) EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    When the cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly is removed, make sure to install a new one. The cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly cannot be reused.

  20. INSTALL COOL BOX BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  21. INSTALL COOLER MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY

      1. Install the cooler magnet valve assembly using the following procedure.

        1. Remove the vinyl tape from the cooler magnet valve assembly and then apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil to the fitting surface with the cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

        2. Using a union nut wrench, install the cooler magnet valve assembly with the nut.

        NOTE:

        Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed.)

  22. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A

      1. Install the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A using the following procedure.

        1. Remove the vinyl tape from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and then apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface with the cooler magnet valve assembly.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

        2. Install the O-ring to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

        NOTE:

        Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

        3. Using a union nut wrench, install the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A with the nut.

        NOTE:

        Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed.)

  23. INSTALL LIQUID HOSE A

      1. Install the liquid hose A using the following procedure.

        1. Remove the vinyl tape from the liquid hose A and then apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the liquid hose A and cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

        2. Install the O-ring to the liquid hose A.

        NOTE:

        Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

        3. Install the liquid hose A with the bolt.

        Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed.)

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      1. Install the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose using the following procedure.

        1. Remove the vinyl tape from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose and then apply a sufficient amount of compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose and cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

        2. Install the O-ring to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

        NOTE:

        Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.

        3. Install the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose with the bolt.

        Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed.)

  25. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY 
  26. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONER HARNESS 
  27. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER 
  28. INSTALL BLOWER CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
  29. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE BOX 
  30. INSTALL AIR PURIFIER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 
  31. INSTALL COOL BOX CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  32. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 
  33. INSTALL NO. 1 COOL BOX PANEL 
  34. INSTALL NO. 2 COOL BOX RETAINER 
  35. INSTALL NO. 1 COOL BOX RETAINER 
  36. INSTALL NO. 2 COOL BOX PANEL
