Inspection [10/2022 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Inspect the turning torque of the ball joint.
- Install the nut to the toe control link sub-assembly stud.
- Using a torque wrench, turn the stud continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn, and then read the torque on the 5th turn.STANDARD TURNING TORQUE

in.lbf - If the turning torque is outside the specified range, replace the toe control link sub-assembly with a new one.
- Rotate the stud bolt.

It turns smoothly and there is no looseness
- If the stud bolt does not turn smoothly or there is looseness, replace the toe control link sub-assembly with a new one.
- Inspect the dust cover.
- Check for any cracks or grease on the dust cover.
- If there are any cracks or grease on the dust cover, replace the toe control link sub-assembly with a new one.
- Inspect the turning torque of the ball joint.
