Inspection [10/2022 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result M14-5 (CLS) - M14-2 (E) Pressed (On) Below 1 Ω Ω M14-5 (CLS) - M14-2 (E) Not pressed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the power back door control switch illuminates.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) - M14-6 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) - M14-1 (ILL-)Always Switch illumination illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the power back door control switch illuminates.
- Check the switch.
