Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  8. DISCONNECT POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. DISCONNECT POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  10. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  11. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
  12. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      *a Connector *b Grommet
      *c Nut *d Bolt
      Protective Tape - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the rear light assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Disconnect the connector.
      3. Disconnect the grommet.
      4. Remove the 2 bolts and 6 nuts.

      1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 clips and guide to remove the rear light assembly.
