Transmission Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (TCM BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the B26 TCM connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B26-17 (CANH) - B26-18 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (TCM) 

    Result: 

    OK 

    See step  2

  2. CHECK TCM POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT 
    1. Check the TCM power source circuit.

      Refer to TCM Power Source Circuit [10/2022 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE TCM. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
