Plugin Charge Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the H124 electric vehicle charger assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H124-18 (CA1H) - H124-17 (CA1L) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT 
    1. Check the electric vehicle charger assembly power source circuit.

      Refer to ECU Power Source Circuit [08/2023 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
