Installation [08/2023 - 10/2024]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY

      1. Temporarily install the rear upper No. 2 control arm assembly to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.
        NOTE:
        • Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
        • Insert the bolt from the rear of the vehicle and temporarily install the nut.
      2. Position the rear upper No. 2 control arm assembly as shown in the illustration.

        Reference Length (A)

        3.8 mm (0.1496 in.)

      3. Fully tighten the bolt.

        Torque: 53.6 N.m (547 kgf/cm, 40 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

  2. INSTALL REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY

      1. Temporarily install the rear upper control arm assembly to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.
        NOTE:
        • Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
        • Insert the bolt from the front of the vehicle and temporarily install the nut.
      2. Position the rear upper control arm assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

        Reference Length (A)

        3.7 mm (0.146 in.)

      3. Fully tighten the bolt.

        Torque: 52 N.m (530 kgf/cm, 38 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

  3. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
