Installation [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

      1. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the engine oil level sensor to the engine balancer assembly with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      2. Remove any dirt or foreign matter from the engine oil level sensor connector installation hole.
      3. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil level sensor.
      4. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor.
      5. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.
        NOTE:

        If there is any engine oil on the connector, clean the connector using a cloth or similar.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    for 1Motor-HEV Model:
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
    for Gasoline Model:
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
  3. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    for 1Motor-HEV Model:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    for Gasoline Model:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
