Installation [11/2021 - 03/2024]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR TRAILING ARM ASSEMBLY

      *A for Nut Connection Type *B for Bolt Connection Type
      *1 Bolt *2 Nut
      *a Wooden Block *b Transmission Jack
      Outside of the Vehicle - -
      1. Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
        NOTE:
        • When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
        • Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.
      2. Install the rear trailing arm assembly to the vehicle with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 90 N.m (918 kgf/cm, 66 ft.lbf) 

      3. Install the rear trailing arm assembly to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 135 N.m (1377 kgf/cm, 100 ft.lbf) 

      4. for Nut Connection Type:

        1. Install the rear trailing arm assembly to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

        Torque: 75 N.m (765 kgf/cm, 55 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the outside of the vehicle.

      5. for Bolt Connection Type:

        1. Install the rear trailing arm assembly to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

        Torque: 75 N.m (765 kgf/cm, 55 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
        • Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the inside of the vehicle.
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY (w/o AVS) 

    Torque: 15.5 N.m (158 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY (w/ AVS)

      *a Clamp *b Guide
      1. Install the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly to the rear trailing arm assembly with the nut.

        Torque: 15.5 N.m (158 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

      2. Engage the clamp.
      3. Engage the guide and Install the wire harness bracket to the rear trailing arm assembly with the nut.

        Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf) 

      4. Engage the clamp.
      5. Connect the connector.
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER CONTROL ARM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  5. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [03/2023 - 03/2024]

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  7. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  9. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  10. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER DYNAMIC DAMPER (for T24A-FTS LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [11/2021 - 03/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 80 [03/2023 - ]

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model) 

    for A25A-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  12. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [11/2021 - ]

  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    FOR HEV MODEL:

    Parking Assist Monitor System Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - ]
    Panoramic View Monitor System Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2024]
    Advanced Park Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2024]
    Lighting System (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System) Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2022 - ]
    FOR GASOLINE MODEL:

    Parking Assist Monitor System Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - ]
    Panoramic View Monitor System Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 03/2024]
    Lighting System (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System) Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - 03/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2022 - ]
