1. Read the DTCs.

1. According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List while the Active Test "Control the Intercooler Water Pump" is set to 85%.
   NOTE:

   Be sure to perform the inspection with the battery voltage at 11 V or higher.

   HINT: 

   If the battery voltage is low, the electric water pump assembly may stop operating.

   • If the electric water pump assembly voltage is extremely high or low, control may be temporarily stopped and a DTC stored.
   • The coolant will freeze at -15°C (5°F) at 30% coolant concentration and at -35°C (-31°F) at 50% coolant concentration.
   • DTC P023A-71 will be stored if the electric water pump assembly cannot rotate due to freezing of the coolant.
   • If DTC P023A-71 is stored due to freezing of the coolant, the problem cannot be reproduced. Judge whether freezing of the coolant occurred from the coolant replacement history and the ambient temperature when the DTC was stored.
