Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 

    Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 

    Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 
  4. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 
  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY 
  7. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH (for LH Side) 
  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH (for RH Side) 
  10. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER LH (for LH Side) 
  11. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER RH (for RH Side) 
  12. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for LH Side) 
  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for RH Side) 
  15. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD (for HEV Model) 
  16. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD (for HEV Model) 
  17. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LH Side) 
  18. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side) 
  19. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH 
  20. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH 
  21. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR LH 
  22. INSTALL JUNCTION BLOCK SERVICE COVER (for HEV Model) 
  23. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR RH 
  24. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Spare Tire) 
  25. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 
  26. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.
  27. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

      *a Fastener - -
      Direction to wake up - -
      1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.
        NOTE:

        Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      2. Connect the connector and engage the 2 clamps.
      3. Engage the 2 guides to install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.
      4. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

      5. Engage the 2 fasteners.
      6. Engage the 2 clips.
      7. Return the rear seatback assembly LH to its original position.
  28. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

      *a Band *b Protruding Part
      1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.
        NOTE:

        Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      2. Connect the connector and engage the 2 clamps.
      3. Pass the floor anchor part of the rear center seat outer belt assembly through the band of the rear seatback assembly RH.
      4. Connect the floor anchor of rear center seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

        Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Do not allow the anchor part of the rear center seat outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

      Direction to wake up Install in this Direction
      1. Engage the 2 guides to install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
      2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 36.8 N.m (375 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

      3. Engage the 2 fasteners.
      4. Engage the 3 clips.
      5. Return the rear seatback assembly RH to its original position.
  29. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 
  30. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 
  31. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 
  32. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
  33. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 
  34. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    for A25A-FKS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

    for T24A-FTS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

    A25A-FXS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  35. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER PLATE (for HEV Model) 
  36. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

  37. INITIALIZATION OF SEAT ECU 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - ]

  38. INSPECT REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

  39. CHECK SEAT HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System)
