Installation [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

   *a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length	-	-
   	Push Up the Lever		Turn

   1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it to the transmission wire.
   2. Pass the transmission wire through the installation mouth of the automatic transmission assembly.
   3. Connect the transmission wire connector and raise the lever to engage the claw.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the transmission wire.

      HINT: 

      Push up the lever until the claw of the transmission wire connector makes a connection sound.

   4. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, install the bolt.

      Specified tightening torque 

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

      HINT: 

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2021 - ]

      • When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.8661 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 185 mm (7.2835 in.)): 4.8 N.m (49 kgf/cm, 42 in.lbf)
   5. Install the 3 transmission wire clamps with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf)
