Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY RH WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE AIR BY-PASS VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Bank 1:

      1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
      2. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the wire harness.
      3. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts and air by-pass valve assembly.
        NOTE:

        Replace with a new air by-pass valve assembly if the air by-pass valve assembly is dropped or subjected to a strong impact.

    2. for Bank 2:

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts and air by-pass valve assembly.
        NOTE:

        Replace with a new air by-pass valve assembly if the air by-pass valve assembly is dropped or subjected to a strong impact.
