Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
  2. REMOVE TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    WARNING:

    To prevent burns, do not remove the temperature sensor while the engine is hot.

      1. Disconnect the temperature sensor connector.
      2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the temperature sensor.
        NOTE:

        If the temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      3. Remove the gasket from the temperature sensor.
