Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2021 - ]

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [12/2021 - ]
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  3. REMOVE LOWER DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
  4. REMOVE METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Do not lift up the meter mirror sub-assembly while holding the metal bracket only.

      1. Remove the 4 bolts and meter mirror sub-assembly.
      2. Disconnect the connector.
      3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the clamp.

        HINT: 

        Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
