- CHECK PAST DTC
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH
- Connect the connector to the rear airbag sensor LH.
*1 Side Airbag Sensor Assembly RH *2 Rear Airbag Sensor LH - Interchange the side airbag sensor assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Return the side airbag sensor assembly RH and LH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.

REPLACE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]
