- CHECK PAST DTC
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the rear airbag sensor RH and side airbag sensor assembly RH.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Using a service wire, connect terminals 1 (BBR+) and 2 (BBR-) of connector B.NOTE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L39-3 (BBR-) - L39-4 (BBR+) Always Below 1 Ω - Disconnect the service wire from connector B.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH
- Connect the connector to the rear airbag sensor RH.
*1 Side Airbag Sensor Assembly LH *2 Rear Airbag Sensor RH - Interchange the side airbag sensor assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Return the side airbag sensor assembly LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.

DTC B1628 is output
REPLACE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]

DTC B1623 and B1628 are not output
