DTC B1615: Front Airbag Sensor (LH) [10/2020 - 10/2023]: Procedure
- CHECK FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH
- Turn the power switch off.
*1 Front Airbag Sensor RH *2 Airbag ECU Assembly - Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Interchange the front airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - 10/2023]
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs
- Turn the power switch off.
- Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes
Result
Proceed to DTC B1615 is output DTC B1610 is output DTC B1610 and B1615 are not output HINT:
Codes other than DTC B1610 and B1615 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Return the front airbag sensor RH and LH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
Result:
DTC B1615 is output
REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
Result:
DTC B1610 is output
REPLACE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
Result:
DTC B1610 and B1615 are not output

- Turn the power switch off.
