DTC C1125-14: Electric Parking Brake Tension Sensor "B" Circuit Short to Ground or Open [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Using the GTS, check for DTCs other than DTC C1125-14.

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Only DTC C1125-14 is output	A
   DTCs other than C1125-14 are output	B

GO TO  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2021 - 10/2023]

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
3. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L78-10 (TSN2) - A102-40 (TSN2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L78-1 (TGND) - A102-42 (TGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L78-10 (TSN2) or A102-40 (TSN2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   L78-1 (TGND) or A102-42 (TGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

REPLACE NO. 2 SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
