Monitor Description

SAE Code C1345: 

1. If linear solenoid valve offset learning is not performed after performing any of the following procedures and the vehicle is driven more than a certain vehicle speed or more, the skid control ECU assembly judges that linear solenoid valve offset learning has not been performed and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

• The skid control ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one.
• After the brake actuator assembly, brake pedal stroke sensor assembly, yaw rate sensor or brake pedal support assembly is removed and installed or replaced, the zero point is cleared.

C1345 (INF Code 501, 502, 503 and 504): 

1. If linear solenoid valve offset learning is not performed after performing any of the following procedures, the skid control ECU assembly judges that linear solenoid valve offset learning has not been performed and illuminates the ABS warning light, brake warning / red (malfunction) light, brake warning / yellow (minor malfunction) light and slip indicator light, flashes the brake hold operated indicator light*, and stores a DTC.

• The skid control ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one.
• After the brake actuator assembly, brake pedal stroke sensor assembly, yaw rate sensor or brake pedal support assembly is removed and installed or replaced, the zero point is cleared.

  HINT: 

  • *: The brake hold switch is turned on under the following vehicle conditions.
    1. Vehicle Conditions:
       1. The driver side door is closed.
       2. The driver side seat belt is fastened.
  • As the detection conditions slightly differ from SAE code C1345, the detection conditions for DTC C1345 (INF Code 501, 502, 503 and 504) is also provided.
