- INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.

*a Component without harness connected
(Fuel Lid Lock with Motor Assembly)- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.

Tester Connection Specified Condition L74-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)
L74-2 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)Open Operation HINT:
If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
- Measure the shaft stroke.
OK
Area Lock Condition Specified Condition A Fuel Lid Close 17.7 mm (0.697 in.) Fuel Lid Open 0.0 mm (0 in.)
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.
- Check the resistance of the limit switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L74-3 (B) - L74-2 (E) Fuel Lid Open Below 1 Ω L74-3 (B) - L74-2 (E) Fuel Lid Close 10 kΩ or higher HINT:
If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
