Removal [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER 
    1. Push the lock and move the lock lever of each connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration and disconnect the 6 connectors (with lock) from the 2 injector drivers.

      *c Connector (with Lock)
    2. Disconnect the 2 injector driver connectors.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and No. 1 injector driver and No. 2 injector driver.

      NOTE:

      Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
