Installation [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL INJECTOR DRIVER 
    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
    • The injector driver is grounded at the 4 bolts and 2 nuts. To ensure that it is grounded, clean the installation surfaces of the injector driver and engine before installing the injector driver.
    1. Temporarily install the No. 1 injector driver and No. 2 injector driver with the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.
    2. Tighten the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the 2 injector driver connectors.

      *a Lock Lever
    4. Connect the 6 connectors (with lock) to the 2 injector drivers and move the lock lever to engage the lock of each connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Securely connect the connectors (with lock) to the injector driver and engage the lock.

  2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 138 [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 138 [06/2019 - 05/2023]

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2020 - 05/2023]
