Inspection [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT REAR SPOILER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the drive shaft moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the connector terminals.

      *a Drive shaft
      *b Clockwise
      *c Counterclockwise
      *d Component without harness connected
      (Rear Spoiler Motor Assembly)

      OK

      Battery Connection Operational Direction
      Battery positive (+) → 3
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      Drive shaft rotates clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 3
      Drive shaft rotates counterclockwise

      HINT: 

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear spoiler motor assembly.
