Removal [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, pull the instrument panel finish panel end LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 clips.

    2. Pull the instrument panel finish panel end LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 6 guides and remove it.
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, pull the instrument panel finish panel end RH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 clips.

    2. Pull the instrument panel finish panel end RH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 6 guides and remove it.
  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the front console box cover.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    for UA80E: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    for UB80F: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    for P710: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Open the console compartment door sub-assembly toward the driver seat side.
    2. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and 7 clips.

    4. Lift the rear side of the rear upper console panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the rear upper console panel sub-assembly and console compartment door sub-assembly.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Disconnect each connector to remove the rear upper console panel sub-assembly.
    6. Remove the protective tape.
  7. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Disconnect each connector to remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.
  8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET 
    1. Remove the console box carpet.

  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 5 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the rear console box assembly.

      Remove in this Direction
  10. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the box bottom mat.

  11. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the console box cup holder sub-assembly.

    1. Remove the 6 screws and console box cup holder sub-assembly.
